The Ruins of Bucklain
Heir: Sir William Bucklain
Blazon: Sable, a rose Argent, the shield inverted
Motto: Bound by Naught
Over two hundred years ago, the House Bucklain of Bucklain was dishonored and its barony divided for the treason of Lord Janus Bucklain, the Mad Baron who usurped the throne. A peasant rebellion saved the Lockmare line and deposed the cruel baron. For his crimes, the Baron was hanged and his house and titles revoked, while his heirs became wards of the Lockmares. Over time, the folk of Bucklain dispersed to Picadilly, Hatchet, and Dunhame, leaving deserted forts and hamlets to speckle its forests.
